United Way Names New Chairman

Craig E. Newbold has been named 2006-2007 campaign chairman of the East Liverpool United Way. Newbold has a long history of successful accomplishments in the realm of nonprofit and entrepreneurial organizations, and is the founder of New Life Academy of Information Technology, The American Spirit Initiative, Soaring Eagle Inc., and BEST Consulting.

Jobs for the Valley

According to the latest labor statistics, unemployment in Ohio is at 5.6%, in Columbiana County it's 6.6%. But there is an effort underfoot to help lower that statistic.
